The publication by Prof. Daniel Gryko in the Journal of the American Chemical Society

Prof. Daniel Gryko, in collaboration with researchers from South Korea, discovered a previously unknown, structurally complex chemical compound and described its properties. The article presents the first instance anywhere in the world where intramolecular processes of charge separation and charge transfer were distinguished within the same molecule. This discovery was made possible by applying the new technology of time-resolved Raman spectroscopy and may be used in research involving organic photovoltaics and organic light-emitting diodes.
