The Foundation for Polish Science awarded prizes in the START competition. The competition is the oldest scholarship program in the country for the best young scientists in all fields of science. The award recognizing the quality of scientific achievements to date was awarded to, among others, Jakub Brześkiewicz from the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. During the multi-stage competition, he defeated 640 candidates representing broadly understood fields of science.
